Russell McQuilty is a self-taught sculptor, working in steel
since 1982. During the 80s he also created utilitarian
objects forged from steel, which were shown at Sydney’s well
known “Outside In” shop in Paddington.
In 1990 Russell became a full time sculptor working on
outdoor large scale pieces and miniatures. He has exhibited
extensively at Defiance Gallery and participated in group
exhibitions throughout Sydney.Born South Lismore, New
